We invite you on Saturday May 25th to the 1st IGP Chorizo Riojano IGP World Championship of Recreational Soccer. You can't miss it!
When we were little we loved to play soccer at recess. We felt like professional stars and wanted to emulate our idols. A goal in the playground meant more than a goal in the World Cup final. We played with two backpacks as goals, and we all knew when the ball went out, when it was a foul or when a goal had gone in. We didn't need referees, VAR or even lines on the field.
One of the memories that has lingered longest in our memory is the feeling of unwrapping the sandwich that your mother had prepared for you with so much love and taking a bite, sitting on the floor, while you commented on the last goal you had scored. The taste of the bread with the chorizo is incomparable. Such a magical taste that fills our bodies with nostalgia and evokes great childhood memories.
Now we have grown up, but we still love a good chorizo sandwich ...Especially if it is Chorizo Riojano IGP! As we also love soccer, we wanted to organize a Recreational Football Tournament, to feel again the taste of the best chorizo after a good soccer match.

We want you to come and see us! You can come by the soccer field and attend as a spectator to our seven-a-side soccer tournament, betweenfour great veteran teams of the city of La Rioja. We invite you to a chorizo sandwich and a drink... Just for coming!
We are waiting for you at the facilities of La Estrella Soccer Field to remember with us those sensations we had when we were kids, and to taste the best Chorizo in the world, IGP Chorizo Riojano , of course.
