Meet Oscar

With a late vocation, he began studying for a higher degree in kitchen management in Santo Domingo de La Calzada in 2013. He complemented these studies by taking a degree in avant-garde techniques at the Basque Culinari Center in San Sebastian.

Subsequently, he did an internship at the Echaurren Restaurant in Ezcaray, where he worked for more than a year and a half at El Portal de Echaurren (two Michelin stars) and later at El Cuartito.

Little by little and thanks to the support of friends and family, the idea of giving shape to the project La Chispa Adecuada, a place that was born with the philosophy of tapas bar and snacks, and that over time, according to the demand of our customers, we are changing by the restaurant.

Closely linked to the territory in 2019 they create “Bernabé”, a tribute to Lorenzo Cañas and the city of Logroño, winning the contest of pinchos of La Rioja and participating in the Mama Gastronomic Festival of Ezcaray.

Its menu is constantly renewed, always hand in hand with the seasonality and seasonality of the product and the responsible basket.
